finally I finished my thesis this weekend, so from now on I can focus on photographing again. I am going to shoot the next scene this week, so today I experimented a bit and took some test photos to check things like the lighting and exposure time

...maybe this was what Douglas Gordon thought when he made the work „24 hour psycho“. however, he slowed Hitchcock's film "psycho" down, so that it would take a whole day to watch it...It’s nice to compare Gordon’s work with Bill Viola’s, which is of a totally different kind. But for both of them the element time is very important. Apropos time, I need to carry on with my scriptie as there’s not much time left.

Vandaag heb ik gesprekken gehad met Jellichje en Aneta over mijn project. Dat heeft wel inspiratie opgeleverd voor de komende dingen die ik wil maken. Verder ben ik begonnen met het animeren van de schaduw-foto's. Ik ga nog verder experimenteren met de beelden die ik heb. Maar hier is alvast een eerste versie: schattenboxer

Vandaag heb ik vooral beelden gemaakt en verzameld voor de fotoworkshop die donderdag verdergaat. onderwerp is de bovenstaande zin, waarmee vrijwel alle duitse sprookjes eindigen. Ik stel vast dat ik nooit eerder over deze logische, maar nietszeggende zin heb nagedacht...

Gelukkig scheen vandaag de zon, zodat ik foto's kon maken van schaduwen. De komende dagen wil ik de foto's animeren om te zien hoe dit in beweging werkt. Ik wil ook nog meer dingen uitproberen, bijvoorbeeld op een andere locatie en met andere lichtomstandigheden fotograferen.
